Getting Ready at The Estate at New Albany | August 29, 2025

Morgan and Luther’s wedding day began on August 29, 2025, with both of them getting ready onsite at The Estate at New Albany. Starting the day together in one place created a calm, seamless flow and allowed them to truly savor every moment leading up to the celebration.

Morgan spent the morning surrounded by her bridal party, soaking in the excitement as her vision came to life. “My mother and I spent a long time designing details, and it was special to look around and see those brought to life,” she shared. Her beauty look was soft and timeless, with hair by Hair By Cianne and makeup by K.E.B Artistry, complementing the romantic palette of the day. She stepped into her gown from David’s Bridal | North, a classic silhouette that felt elegant and effortless.

Just down the hall, Luther got ready with his groomsmen, sharing laughs and quiet moments before the day officially began. His attire from Men’s Wearhouse was polished and timeless, perfectly suited for a day rooted in tradition and celebration.

A Sacred Ceremony at St. Paul the Apostle Church

Once everyone was ready, guests boarded buses and traveled together to St. Paul the Apostle Church for the ceremony. The shift from The Estate to the church marked a meaningful transition, as anticipation grew for Morgan and Luther’s vows.

Surrounded by family and friends, the ceremony was heartfelt and deeply personal. Morgan reflected on the emotion of the day, sharing, “Having all of our family and friends in one room together to celebrate our marriage with us was by far the most precious piece of our day.” After the ceremony, guests gathered outside for the most joyful send-off, complete with bubbles and colorful streamers, as the newlyweds made their way back to The Estate at New Albany.

Portraits Filled With Connection and Joy

Back at The Estate, the afternoon unfolded with portraits across the property. Morgan and Luther took time for images with their bridal parties and families, along with intimate portraits together as newlyweds. These moments felt relaxed and full of connection, allowing the couple to soak in the reality of the day.

The emotion and joy of these moments were beautifully preserved by Jaclyn Willman Photography, capturing both candid interactions and timeless portraits that tell the story of the day.

Cocktail Hour and Thoughtfully Designed Details

As portraits concluded, guests moved into cocktail hour and began exploring the reception space. Every detail reflected the intentional planning that went into the day, from florals to linens. Morgan shared how meaningful it was to see everything come together, noting how special it felt to watch the designs she and her mother envisioned transform the space.

Florals by Fiori Florals and The Flowerman added soft color, texture, and romance throughout the venue, while linens from Connie Dulin Linen brought an elevated, polished feel to the reception design.

Dinner, Speeches, and a Sweet Ending

Guests were invited to dinner, where catering by Gourmet Fresh Catering impressed from the first course through dessert. The evening slowed for heartfelt speeches from both parents, both brothers, and the best men and matron of honor. “Hearing their kind words, stories, and love for us warmed our hearts deeply,” Morgan shared.

The meal concluded with cake from Alice’s Piece Of Cake, a sweet and celebratory moment that perfectly capped off dinner.

Dancing, Music, and a Meaningful Tradition

Music played a deeply personal role throughout the night. During dinner, guests listened to a playlist Luther had created for Morgan years earlier, filled with love songs that held special meaning to them. For open dancing, Luther curated another playlist featuring songs their close friends love to dance to, brought to life by D&M DJ Entertainment.

One of the most unforgettable moments of the evening honored Luther’s Malawian heritage. Morgan shared, “A wedding tradition we incorporated was sitting Luther and myself in the middle of the dance floor, circling around us throwing money while chanting and dancing. It was so fun and amazing being surrounded with immense love through this tradition.” The money dance filled the room with joy, movement, and emotion, perfectly reflecting the heart of the celebration.

From getting ready in the morning to the final moments on the dance floor, Morgan and Luther’s wedding day was a beautiful blend of family, culture, and intentional love, a celebration that will be remembered by everyone who shared it with them.
