For February, we are highlighting an elegant tented wedding at the iconic Rocky Fork Hunt and Country Club. From the intentional vendor team to the refined design details woven throughout the day, Sarah and Katherine’s celebration was a beautiful example of how strong planning and clear vision come together to create something truly memorable. Led by  Jennifer Kontomerkos at the Finer Things Event Planning, Sarah and Kat’s day unfolded with ease, warmth, and unmistakable polish.

How the Couple Met

Sarah and Katherine met in New York City after connecting on Hinge. What began as a modern introduction quickly grew into something deeper, rooted in shared values and an immediate sense of ease. “We always felt grounded together,” they shared. “That foundation made planning our wedding feel less about expectations and more about creating a day that truly reflected us.”

The Wedding Weekend

On October 11, 2025, Sarah Bozzo and Katherine Restrepo gathered their family and friends at Rocky Fork Hunt and Country Club to celebrate their marriage. The night before, guests gathered for a rehearsal dinner at The Brass Eye at The Junto in Downtown Columbus. The evening set the tone for the weekend with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that allowed family and friends to slow down, connect, and celebrate together before the wedding day arrived.

On the morning of the wedding, both brides got ready at The Junto, surrounded by their closest people. Those quiet hours offered a moment to be fully present before the day unfolded. “Those calm moments together made everything feel real,” they shared. “It gave us space to take it all in.” The day was thoughtfully documented through videography by Emily Schutz and photography by Tessa Starling Studio, whose joyful and candid images captured the emotion and meaningful moments woven throughout the celebration. Wedding day content creation by The Gilded Social completed the experience, offering beautifully curated behind-the-scenes moments that allowed Sarah and Katherine to relive their day from every angle.

Fashion Details

Fashion was a deeply personal part of the day. Both brides wore Anne Barge gowns, choosing silhouettes that reflected their individual styles. Sarah found her gown at Bridal Atelier Montclair in New Jersey, while Katherine selected her look from The Gilded Social in Columbus. The Gilded Social provided wedding day dressing & styling for the brides, as well as bridal gown dress display, alteration & preservation. Special thanks to Mary Ellen Metzger for alterations, Kat Krafel & Veiled Beauty. Family jewelry added a meaningful layer of sentiment for the brides, & their rings from Diamond Cellar  (special shoutout Igor!) completed their timeless looks. Bridesmaids were dressed in classic black Jenny Yoo NYC gowns, and the entire bridal party’s hair and makeup was done elegantly by Hey Pretty! Beauty.

The Wedding Day

Guests arrived via seamless transportation provided by Limitless Limo and Cardinal Transportation, allowing the day to unfold smoothly from start to finish.

The ceremony took place outdoors at the Rocky Fork Hunt and Country Club, framed by natural greenery and soft fall light. The moment felt intimate and emotional, something the brides were intentional about. “Standing there together, hearing each other’s vows, and seeing everyone we love in one place was incredibly meaningful,” they shared. Each moment was captured with care by videographer Emily Schutz, preserving both the quiet emotion and joyful energy of the ceremony.

Guests then transitioned into a beautifully designed tented reception. Candlelight, layered linens, glowing ceiling installations and thoughtful textures created a warm, inviting atmosphere that felt highly elevated. Rentals from Event Source, Lasting Impressions Event Rental, and ACC Party Rental formed the foundation of the design, while lush florals by Dalay Ket Events added softness and movement throughout the space. As the evening unfolded, guests gathered for heartfelt speeches and a thoughtfully curated dinner catered by Rocky Fork Hunt and Country Club.

The Celebration

As the evening unfolded, dinner and dancing filled the tent. Music by The Conspiracy Band alongside Columbus Musicians kept the energy high. “Once the music started, it felt like pure joy,” the brides shared. “Seeing everyone relaxed, laughing, and celebrating together was everything we hoped for.”

Throughout the day, Jennifer Kontomerkos and her team at The Finer Things Event Planning ensured everything flowed seamlessly. “Jennifer gave us the best options to choose from and made sure they were aligned with our vision and values,” Sarah and Katherine shared. “She truly set us up with an all star team and made our dreams come true.”

Final Thoughts

Reflecting on the experience, the brides shared how important it was to choose supportive vendors and to surround themselves with people who allowed them to fully soak in every moment. “Stay true to what you and your partner want, choose vendors you like and trust, and stay close to each other,” they shared. “The day goes by so fast.”

Sarah and Katherine’s wedding was a celebration defined by intention, trust, and connection. From the emotional ceremony to the glowing tented reception, their day is a reminder that the most memorable weddings are built on presence, partnership, and love.
