One dress all night or outfit change?

Laura: Outfit change
Grace: Outfit change! I love the idea of having a second look for the dance floor.

Tiered cake or alternative dessert spread?

Laura: Tiered cake
Grace: A “fake” tiered cake for the photos and cake cutting, but then bring out a GIANT tray of tiramisu!
Emma: Tiered cake – Raspberry white chocolate is my FAVORITE!

Live band or DJ?

Laura: Live band
Grace: Both! Live band for cocktail hour and dinner, then a DJ is a MUST when it’s time to hit the dance floor.

Laura: Sparkler sendoff
Grace: Sparklers! I was born on July 5th, so give me all the fireworks and sparklers.

Laura: Classic quicksand roses
Grace: Long-stem, exposed-stem bouquets. I love how effortless and romantic they look.
Emma: Timeless, elegant florals – White roses are my favorite!!!

Favorite wedding cocktail?

Laura: Espresso Martini
Grace: Espresso martinis — bonus points if they’re served in an espresso martini tower!
Emma: Hugo Spritz or an Espresso Martini

Get to Know Us

Laura:
Hi, I’m Laura! I’m a relationship-focused professional with a heart for community and a passion for creativity. I split my time between Florida and Ohio with my husband of 30 years, our three children, pup, and grand-pup. Whether it’s hosting events, volunteering, or fostering business connections, I love bringing people together through meaningful experiences.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me diving into continued education—especially in digital marketing, design, and wine studies. Currently, I’m completing an Event and Wedding Planning course to formalize what I’ve always loved: creating beautiful, memorable celebrations.

Grace:
Hi, I’m Grace! I moved to Columbus when I was in sixth grade and have absolutely loved calling this city home ever since. I went to Ohio University (Go Bobbies!) and have always known I wanted to find my way into the wedding industry.

One of my favorite parts of my role with Wed Society Columbus is getting to know the people behind the businesses. I love asking questions, seeing someone light up when they talk about their work, and getting genuinely excited alongside them about what they’re creating. It’s one of the biggest reasons I love reaching out to new vendors and building relationships within our wedding community!

Emma:
Hi, I’m Emma! I’m a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Marketing and a passion for digital marketing, brand strategy and creating content that connects people with businesses and experiences they’ll love. Whether I’m developing digital content, highlighting the work of talented wedding professionals or finding new ways to grow and engage our Wed Society Columbus community, I’m always looking to learn more!

Outside of work, I have an identical twin sister and love spending time with my family, staying active and being outdoors. I’m always excited to explore new places, meet new people and find inspiration in the communities around me.

What Excites Us About Wed Society Columbus?

I’m most excited about creating a vibrant, connected wedding community in Columbus where the beautiful work of local talent is celebrated and supported. I truly admire the artistry and creativity of those who bring top-tier weddings to life. This is more than just a business for me—it’s an opportunity to make an impact, foster relationships, and build something lasting and meaningful for our city.

Grace:
What excites me most about Wed Society Columbus is getting to show off just how incredible our local wedding community is. There is so much talent in Columbus, and being able to celebrate the beautiful weddings happening here while highlighting the vendors who put so much work into bringing them to life is such an honor.

Whether it’s a vendor’s work or a couple’s wedding story, I love that we get to give people a platform to be seen, celebrated, and proud of what they’ve created.

Emma:
What excites me most about Wed Society Columbus is getting to tell the stories behind our local wedding community. There are so many talented professionals creating incredible work in Columbus, and I love finding meaningful ways to showcase their businesses through digital content, real wedding features, social media and events. It’s especially rewarding to see the relationships and collaborations that grow from bringing our community together.
