An Evening in Print: Our 2026 Columbus Book of Weddings Release Party

Our first Book of Weddings. A room full of the people who helped make it possible. An evening we will always hold close.

On September 23, Wed Society | Columbus celebrated the release of its inaugural 2026 Book of Weddings at the Columbus Museum of Art. The celebration “An Evening in Print,” brought together our local wedding community to mark a milestone we were so excited to share.

There is something special about holding that first edition in your hands. Turning the pages, seeing the photographs in print, and knowing how much care went into every wedding featured inside. Each story represents a couple who invited us into one of the most meaningful days of their lives, along with a team of professionals who helped make that day possible.

To celebrate those stories in the company of so many talented Columbus wedding creatives felt like the perfect beginning for this new chapter.

A Setting Worthy of the Occasion

The Columbus Museum of Art gave the evening a beautiful sense of place. With its soaring architectural details, stone arches, and rich red curtains, the setting brought its own character to the celebration. Against that backdrop, soft florals and candlelight created a welcoming atmosphere for the people gathering inside.

Planning and design were led by Lexxie Smith and her team at Aisle & Co., whose work brought the many elements of the evening together. From the displays celebrating the new book to the tables arranged throughout the space, the design gave guests so much to take in while keeping the occasion itself at the center.

For a publication devoted to celebrating local weddings and the people behind them, gathering at the Columbus Museum of Art felt especially fitting. Creativity was all around us, both in the setting and in the community sharing it.

Soft Florals, Candlelight, and Thoughtful Layers

White draping framed the room in soft folds, opening onto tables filled with flowers and flickering candlelight. Blush and ivory blooms mingled with greenery, while pale blue linens and patterned napkins brought a fresh touch to another tablescape. Cane back chairs, delicate glassware, and carefully arranged place settings gave each table its own details to admire.

Femme Floral provided the draping and draping florals, creating beautiful transitions throughout the space. Prema Designs designed the main and table florals, with additional table arrangements by Flocal Co Floral Studio and Inspired Settings.

Decor and rentals from Aiden and Grace, paired with linens, chairs, and tabletop pieces from Event Source, completed the setting. Seeing these local teams contribute their individual creativity to one celebration was a beautiful reflection of the collaboration that brings Columbus weddings to life.

The Pages Became Part of the Party

The Book of Weddings was woven into the celebration itself. An oversized display of our inaugural cover gave the issue a striking presence in the room, while stacks of magazines invited a closer look. Nearby, framed Vows That Wow features turned wedding stories into a gallery of their own.

On Paper Press contributed stationery, and Lovely Arrows Designs provided walls and signage that helped carry the evening’s identity throughout the space. The black magazine display, surrounded by white flowers and greenery, brought the Wed Society Columbus name into focus.

These details made An Evening in Print feel personal to the occasion. The very stories we had come together to celebrate were part of the setting, ready to be opened, explored, and shared.

Something Delicious Around Every Corner

The Columbus Museum of Art provided catering and bar service, giving guests plenty to enjoy as they connected throughout the evening. Roaming oyster and caviar service from Blue Ember Oysters added an interactive culinary experience to the celebration.

The desserts deserved their own moment, too. Cake A La Carte brought a charming pale green cake cart with gold detailing and a fringed umbrella. Individual cakes finished with swirls of frosting and strawberries made the experience as lovely to watch as it was to enjoy.

Cakes and sweets from Sweet & Shiny and treats from Lohcally Artisan Chocolates added even more sweetness. Each contribution offered a little taste of the creativity Columbus couples can bring to their own celebrations.

Little Moments to Take Home

Live violin music from Christian Dornbirer Violinist added an elegant musical presence to the evening. Josh Staley Productions s brought the celebration to life with music, lighting and a photo booth, while Best Booths in Town also provided a photo booth experience for guests.

At the portrait station, Alexandra Valentino Portraits created personalized illustrations of attendees. The finished portraits, displayed within an ornate white frame, offered a lovely reminder of the people who shared the night. In a museum setting, taking home a small piece of art felt particularly special.

These experiences gave guests their own ways to remember the celebration, alongside the first edition of the book that brought everyone together.

The People Who Made the Evening Matter

Among all the beautiful details, it was the people who made this milestone feel so meaningful. The room brought together professionals whose creativity and care shape weddings across Columbus, giving us a chance to celebrate their work and the relationships behind it.

For us, that is what makes this first Book of Weddings so special. We see the artistry in every photograph, floral arrangement, and carefully considered detail. We also see the trust couples place in their wedding teams and the effort those teams put into making a celebration feel personal.

An Evening in Print gave us a moment to pause and appreciate all of it, with so many of the people who understand that work firsthand.

A First Chapter We Will Always Remember

Queen Anne’s Lace Photography captured the evening, preserving the floral details, beautiful displays, and candid moments shared throughout the room. Kate’s Content Co. documented content from the celebration, giving us another way to revisit this special occasion. Lauren Wolff Hair Design contributed hairstyling for the evening, adding her talent to the creative team behind it.

Looking back at these images, we feel so grateful. Grateful to the vendors who shared their time and creativity, to the couples who trusted us with their stories, and to everyone who joined us to celebrate the arrival of our inaugural issue.

There will only ever be one first Book of Weddings for Wed Society Columbus. Being able to mark its release with this community is something we will always treasure.

To everyone who helped make An Evening in Print possible, thank you for giving this first chapter such a beautiful beginning. We are so proud to share these pages with you.
