On June 14, 2025, Liza Drought and Will Ciesinski celebrated their love with a stunning modern garden party wedding at the Columbus Museum of Art. The elegant reception space came alive with sophisticated touches that felt both fresh and timeless. La Jeune Mariee helped Liza find her dream gown, a sculptural ballgown that looked absolutely breathtaking against the museum’s contemporary backdrop.

Michelle Joy Photography captured every beautiful moment, including striking black and white portraits of the couple. Liza looked radiant with her hair styled by Charles Penzone and makeup by Tada Spa. Will looked incredibly handsome in his dress uniform, creating a classic military elegance that perfectly complemented the refined atmosphere.

Tracey Castrejon Events brought the couple’s vision to life through expert planning and flawless coordination. Tracey describes the aesthetic perfectly: “Think modern garden party. We softened the clean event space with full, mink drape and let the warm wood floors ground everything.” The stunning florals from Rose Bredl Flowers featured low runners with petite shaded lamps and candlelight, plus a few tall, airy arrangements in clear glass that added romance to each table.

The color palette stayed crisp and inviting throughout the celebration. Mint green patterned linens from BBJ La Tavola set a spring forward tone, while ivory, soft blush, and fresh greens created an airy feeling. Pops of peony pink added just the right touch of color. White bentwood chairs mixed beautifully with light Louis chairs for a preppy chic contrast. The room featured both long banquet tables and classic rounds, which kept the space social and perfectly balanced. Full mink drape from Serendipity Designs softened the clean lines of the event space, while the warm wood floors grounded everything beautifully. Multiple talented rental companies contributed to the polished look. Aiden & Grace, A Novel Affair, Sage Hill Rentals, and Eden Rentals each brought essential pieces that completed the sophisticated design.

The celebration began earlier in the day with a meaningful ceremony at St Agatha Church, where family and friends gathered to witness their vows. After saying “I do,” guests enjoyed delicious food and drinks provided by Cameron Mitchell Premier Events and the Columbus Museum of Art bartending team. The wedding cake from Our Cupcakery was both beautiful and delicious, delighting every guest who tried it.

Liza’s bridesmaids looked lovely in their dresses from Dessy Group, complementing the fresh spring palette perfectly. Her custom gown came from the talented designers at Nicole + Felicia Couture, showcasing incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail. Live music from Conspiracy Band kept everyone dancing and celebrating throughout the evening.

Cardinal Transportation made sure everyone arrived safely and comfortably. The gorgeous invitations and signage from Avant Garde Impressions set the perfect tone from the very first save the date. Event Source Rentals provided additional pieces that helped complete the overall aesthetic. Every detail worked together seamlessly to create a wedding that felt both elegant and approachable. The modern garden party atmosphere achieved exactly what Liza and Will dreamed of: a celebration that was airy, romantic, and absolutely timeless.
