A Timeless Wedding Celebration at Jorgensen Farms in Columbus, Ohio

Shane and Miranda McGuckin’s wedding day unfolded at the ever-elegant Oak Grove at Jorgensen Farms, a Columbus venue known for its refined charm and romantic countryside setting. The space provided a polished yet inviting backdrop for a celebration centered on connection, intention, and heartfelt moments. With planning led by Something Blue Socials and coordination executed seamlessly by Alyssa Thomas Events alongside Miah Runkle Events, the day flowed effortlessly from start to finish. Ashleigh Grzybowski Photography documented every moment with an editorial eye, while Jake Rayman Video Productions captured the emotion and movement woven throughout the day.

Getting Ready Moments Filled With Anticipation

The morning began with intimate getting-ready moments as Miranda prepared alongside her bridal party at Jorgensen Farms. She wore a stunning gown from KR Bridal by Hera Couture, a timeless silhouette that perfectly complemented the elegance of the day. Hair styling by Lo Wolff Hair Design and Lovergirl Bridal Hair paired beautifully with soft, polished makeup by Andrea Perchinske MUA and Bailey Thorpe MUA. Thoughtfully designed stationery by Oakley & Hyde Designs was captured during flat lay moments, adding a personal and refined touch to the morning details.

Nearby, Shane spent the morning with his groomsmen, getting ready in a custom Indo Chino tux. The atmosphere was relaxed and filled with excitement as the group shared meaningful moments before the celebration officially began. These quiet hours set the tone for the emotional moments that would soon follow.

A Touching First Look and Romantic Ceremony Design

Before the ceremony, Shane and Miranda shared a deeply touching first look, exchanging vows that seemed to stretch time as they stood together, fully present in the moment. Portraits followed, capturing the couple’s connection and joy alongside their wedding party before guests gathered for the ceremony.

The ceremony took place inside Oak Grove, a  Lord and Burnham historic greenhouse. The open air atmosphere bathed the ceremony in natural light, while the interior stayed warm and intimate. Elegant draping by Serendipity Designs framed the space and florals by Inspired Settings added soft texture and romance. Every detail felt intentional, from the ceremony layout to the meaningful exchange of vows. Wedding bands from Jeffrey Jewelry symbolized the promises made, and the ceremony concluded with a grand kiss at the end of the aisle, sealing the moment and marking the beginning of their marriage.

A Relaxed and Inviting Cocktail Hour Experience

Following the ceremony, guests transitioned into cocktail hour, where the atmosphere felt warm, social, and celebratory. The setting invited conversation and connection as guests mingled and enjoyed the beauty of the venue. Carefully curated rentals from Aiden & Grace and The 1978 Collection helped shape an elevated yet welcoming environment, creating a seamless transition from ceremony to reception.

Guests enjoyed delicious bites catered in house by Jorgensen Farm & satisfying cocktails. The Courtyard also had personalized cornhole for guests to play during the cocktail hour.

A Lively Reception and Sweet Celebratory Moments

The reception carried the celebration into the evening with heartfelt toasts, joyful traditions, and a packed dance floor. Entertainment by Josh Staley Productions’ DJ Brad McPherson kept energy high throughout the night, ensuring every guest felt part of the celebration. A beautifully crafted cake by Hertty’s Bakeshop served as both a visual centerpiece and a sweet ending to dinner, adding another thoughtful detail to the evening.

As the night unfolded, laughter, music, and movement filled the space, creating moments that felt both unforgettable and deeply personal.
